Biography

2025: Appeared in 47 games this season for the Warriors and started in 30 of them…Gross recorded a batting average of .210 with 21 hits, 37 runs, and 13 RBI…Recorded a slugging percentage of .330 and an on base percentage of .314…Concluded the season with a fielding percentage of .924 with 79 total chances including 70 putouts and 3 assists…Recorded 28 stolen bases this season putting him at second place for the most stolen bases in a single season in the Corban record books…Tied at ninth for the most runs scored in a single season with 37 runs…Tied at sixth for the most stolen bases in a career with 43 stolen bases…CCC Academic All-Conference…Member of the 2025 Corban Baseball team that finished 14-36 overall and 9-28 in CCC contests for a seventh-place finish in the conference standings. 2024: Appearing in 40 games and starting in 13, Gross achieved a slugging percentage of .220 and an on base percentage of .263 along with successfully stealing 15 bases in his first season with the navy and gold… Member of the 2024 Corban Baseball team that finished 9-38 overall and 4-20 in CCC contests for a seventh-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 13 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, along with six NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024 season.

Personal:
A junior transfer with potential to make an immediate impact on the program, Gross begins his third season of college eligibility having started in 56 of 60 contests for New Mexico Military Institute, a member of the NJCAA. He logged nearly 200 plate appearances and slashed a .277 batting average with a .434 slugging percentage, 29 RBI, 54 runs, and 32 stolen bases. Gross comes from a family with plenty of baseball background, with his father and two of his uncles having played in the MLB. His father, Carlos Gross Perez, played for seven seasons with the Montreal Expos and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Gross will be studying kinesiology as a Warrior, with plans to become either an athletic trainer or strength and conditioning coach.
