Lewis-Clark State would put six runs on the board over the opening two innings before Corban scored its only runs in the top of the fourth inning thanks to a throwing error that allowed Stiltner to score before Perry drove home junior

The nationally-ranked home team would tack on four more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning before putting three more runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning for the final score of 13-2.
L-C State's Braxton Miller went a perfect 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs and eight RBI for the host Warriors, while Brian Gaylord drove in two runs thanks to a 2-for-3 performance. Pitching-wise, Zach Hull earned the win going the opening 4.0 innings allowing two unearned runs on two hits before a trio of relievers – Zach Clanton, Paul Anaya, and Alex Murrieta – closed out the final five innings.
With today's result, Corban falls to 0-4 and Lewis-Clark State improves to a perfect 5-0 on its young season. The Warriors will return to the field on Friday, February 18th, in the opener of the Cascade-Northwest Challenge against George Fox beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Wilsonville High School in Wilsonville, Oregon.
