After the opening inning, George Fox would build a three-run lead (3-0) before Corban stormed back in the top of the second inning to pull within a single run (3-2) thanks to a pair of unearned runs that came home on a double play and wild pitch.

Immediately following Frost's RBI single, Romero roped a run-scoring double to left field that pulled the visiting Warriors within two runs (8-6).
Unfortunately that would be as close as Corban would get, as George Fox's pitching and defense shut down the Warriors' offense over the final three innings to secure to victory.

Both teams will return to action on Saturday, April 27th, to close out this week's home-and-home series with a single nine-inning game beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Warrior Field in Salem.
NOTE: At the conclusion of Saturday's game, Corban will honor nine seniors that will be putting on the Warrior uniform for the final time this season in front of the home team.
