KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national office announced the 2016 Men's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Top-25 Poll on Tuesday afternoon, and the Corban University men's soccer team landed at No. 20 in the poll. For the Warriors, it is the first time they have ever garnered a Top-25 ranking in the NAIA Coaches' Preseason Poll.
Coming off of a historic 2015 campaign that saw the Warriors accumulate a 17-3-1 overall record to go with the rights to host an NAIA Opening Round match, Corban is once again set to build on the momentum and continue to rise.
Led by Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Year, Jordan Farr, the Warriors will look for him to lead from the back and lock things down defensively between the pipes. From Farr to senior midfielders Kemar Prince and Armando Guevara in the middle of the park, to CCC Player of the Year, Quamie Dinnall, up front, Corban is primed for the 2016 season.
The season begins on Thursday, August 18, in Arizona. The Warriors take on Arizona Christian University at 7 p.m. in Phoenix, Ariz., that evening, before having Friday off to then prepare for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) on Saturday. Saturday's kickoff is slated for 11 a.m.

The only other CCC team in the NAIA Top-25 was Rocky Mountain College, as the Battlin' Bears came in at No. 8 overall. The University of Great Falls also received votes, totaling eight total point in the poll.
