Warrior Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 11 in Latest NAIA Men’s Soccer Top-25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released its latest NAIA Men's Soccer Top-25 Poll on Tuesday afternoon, and the Corban University men's soccer team came in at No. 11 overall in the poll.

The Warriors dropped one spot in the poll despite scoring 20 goals over the weekend in a pair of wins. Corban now boasts a 13-1-2 overall record on the year and is one of two Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) teams in the NAIA Top-25 poll.

Rocky Mountain College remains the other team in the NAIA Top-25 poll, as the Battlin' Bears moved up one spot to No. 6 and now own a 14-1-0 overall record.

With many scenarios in play, Corban needs to win both matches on the road this week at Warner Pacific College and Eastern Oregon University. If the Warriors are able to win both matches on the road, Corban will be needing Rocky Mountain to lose one of its games, either at Northwest (Wash.) or Evergreen (Wash.) in order for the Warriors to claim the CCC regular-season title. If Rocky wins both matches, the Battlin' Bears will be the CCC regular-season champions.

The winner of the CCC regular-season title clinches the CCC's first automatic berth to the NAIA National Tournament, while the winner of the CCC Tournament earns the CCC's second automatic berth to the NAIA National Tournament. If the same team wins both, then the runner-up in the CCC Tournament earns the second automatic berth to nationals.
