Corban is one of two Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) teams to be going to the NAIA National Tournament, as Southern Oregon University was the other CCC squad that earned a berth. Rocky Mountain College (Mont.), which finished the season with a 16-1-2 overall record, did not receive an At-Large berth to the national tournament, as the Battlin' Bears were left on the outside looking in.

The Warriors (15-2-4) are now the only team from the CCC to qualify for the NAIA National Championships in each of the last five years. During each of the last two years, Corban had hosted an Opening Round match. Of the five-consecutive years in the national tournament, this marks the third that the Navy and Gold have played on the road.

In order to get to the NAIA Final Site in Delray Beach, Fla., Corban will have to defeat Hastings College in the NAIA Opening Round.

Hastings, the No. 15 overall seed in the national tournament, enters Saturday's contest with an 18-3-0 overall record and leads the NAIA in total assists with 84 and ranks No. 1 in the NAIA in assists/game at 4.00/game. The Broncos have scored 79 goals on the year and rank No. 3 overall in the NAIA in the category. Defensively, the team's goals-against-average is at 0.90.

Individually, the Broncos are led offensively by the reigning NAIA Player of the Year, Daniel Whitehall, with 22 goals and seven assists. He ranks No. 3 overall in the NAIA in total goals and goals per game during the 2017 season. In addition, Marc Tautz has scored nine goals and dished out 11 assists, while Daniel Simonis has found the back of the net nine times. Moreover, Brayant Toro and Lucas Venegas have each scored on eight occasions. Defensively, Joe White serves as the team's primary goalkeeper with a goals-against-average of 0.920 and a save percentage of .753.

Corban enters Saturday's contest looking to make history and advance to the NAIA Final Site for the second-straight year, but it will take a greater effort than ever before to do so. Corban ranks No. 7 overall in the NAIA with 10 shutouts and the team boasts a goals-against-average of 0.82.

Offensively, Corban is led by senior Timur Zhividze with 16 goals and 10 assists. Of Zhividze's team-leading 16 goals, eight have been game-winners, ranking him No. 1 overall in the NAIA in the category. Also integral in the attack throughout the campaign have been Alex Segovia and Rolando Velazquez, as Segovia has scored nine times and Segovia eight times. Velazquez has also dished out seven assists while Segovia has totaled four. Defensively, Jordan Farr owns a 0.86 goals-against-average and a .795 save percentage.

There will be a WATCH PARTY for those wanting to tune in to watch the game in Salem, as the game will be live-streamed in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center upstairs classroom. The game is set to start at 3:30 p.m. PST on Saturday.
