Corban Men’s Soccer Rises to No. 17 in NAIA Coaches’ Top-25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top-25 Poll on Tuesday afternoon, with the Corban University men's soccer team rising to No. 17 in the most recent rankings.

Corban is one of two Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) teams in the NAIA Top-25, as Rocky Mountain College (Mont.) rose to No. 10 in the poll.

The Warriors are coming off an impressive launch to their 2018 season, with three wins and no losses to date. Corban first edged Spring Arbor University (Mich.) in a non-conference bout, 3-0, despite playing down a man for more than half the match. Spring Arbor won its conference regular-season title last year.

Corban also defeated Linfield College, 2-0, and then Willamette University, 2-1. Willamette won the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference regular-season title in 2017.

The Warriors head south this week to take on No. 23-ranked Westmont College (Calif.) in Santa Barbara on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.
