SALEM, Ore. – The red-hot Corban University men's basketball team pushed its win streak to six games on Friday, treating a full house at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center to a dominant all-around performance in a 111-73 win over Multnomah University. The Warriors shot at a season-high 57.9% clip from the field en route to their highest scoring output of the season.
"Tonight was a great night for the Corban Warriors," said head coach Taylor Kelly. "We are continuing to build momentum and belief. Our guys are really taking pride in being a team that is committed to the defensive end, and it is resulting in great opportunities for us on offense. We had a balanced attack on offense led by Kendall Moore being the spark plug for our team that he has been so many times. I am really proud of the way our team is coming together!"

The Lions grabbed the first basket of the game, but that would be the only time the visitors would have the lead during the rout.
As a team, Friday's win against the Lions marked new season-highs for the Warriors in scoring (111 points), field goal percentage (57.9%), assists (22), three-pointers made (14), and blocks (6).
Seven different Warriors—Moore (24 PTS, 4 AST, 3 REB), Jordan Newt (14 PTS, 4 REB, 3 AST), Denis Kirichenko (12 PTS, 6 REB), Mateo Escheik (11 PTS, 3 REB), Darius Henderson (11 PTS, 8 REB), Psalm Maduakor (11 PTS, 4 REB), and Taylor Anderson (10 PTS, 3 AST)—finished in double figures in the dominating team effort.
Moore led the charge, with his 24 points serving as a new season high and his four assists leading the Navy and Gold in the category. Henderson and Kirichenko were at the forefront of the Warriors' efforts under the rim, helping Corban out-score Multnomah 50-28 in the paint.

Meanwhile, the Warriors continue to play their best basketball of the season, showcasing their winning ways in front of a raucous home crowd on Friday evening.
"Warrior Nation showed up in a big way tonight," Kelly added. "We are so thankful to represent them!"
