Head coach Todd Bos said, "Overall the team competed well after our two-week break. Now it is the fun part of the season when the stress of school is over and we can prepare for next weekend's conference meet."

Headlining today's success for the women was Jaelene Diaz-Chavez who set a new school record in the hammer throw at 45.29m. She crushed her previous personal best by eight meters with the toss. Freshman Gabrielle Tata-Rodrigues also qualified for the conference meet in the hammer throw after picking one up for the first time just two weeks ago.

On the track it was Valerie Schmidt who stole the show with her first-place finish in the 100m hurdles and Hero Peters (12.71) finished third in 100m dash and jumped to sixth place in Corban's record books.

On the men's side, Caleb Schmoll finished fourth in the 400m, crossing the finish line with a time of 52.52, while Carson Beguelin (1:03.11) placed third in the 400 hurdles.

Brody Gerig competed in the 3000m steeplechase and earned a fourth-place finish with a mark of 10:28.31.

The Warriors are on the rise and are preparing for another record setting, history making performance at the CCC Championships in Ashland next Friday and Saturday.
