LA GRANDE, Ore. – The 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships came to a close this afternoon at Community Stadium in eastern Oregon, where the Corban University Men's and Women's Track & Field programs finished in seventh and ninth, respectively, across the Pacific Northwest teams in attendance. Two more Warriors claimed event championship titles alongside All-Conference honors today to give the Dubs four event crowns on the weekend and five total All-Conference selections. For a second-consecutive season, the Navy and Gold women's program was named to the CCC Team Sportsmanship Award.
In the final event of the weekend, the meet host Mountaineers of Eastern Oregon University completed a come-from-behind effort on day two to defeat their CCC rivals from The College of Idaho by 2.5 team points and claim the men's team championship. On the women's side, the Thunderbirds from the University of British Columbia utilized their heavy day two depth to claim a 42-point team title over the Mounties. Corban men's track & field placed above Southern Oregon University, Oregon Tech, Northwest University, Warner Pacific University, and The Evergreen State College, while the women doubled up on the Eagles, Geoducks, and Knights.
After claiming two event crowns yesterday, the Navy and Gold earned their third of the weekend in the women's high jump from the preseason favorite and two-time defending champion, as redshirt senior Kayla Morgan completed her three-peat with a 1.70m clearance to defeat the University of British Columbia's Sarah Pimblett in a jump-off between the top two CCC jumpers. The Sisters native concludes her conference career with women's high jump titles in 2026, 2025, and 2024 with an opportunity to add to her All-American accolades in less than two weeks' time.
In his first season as a Warrior, sophomore Oliver Reis staked his claim as the top men's horizontal jumper across the Pacific Northwest, as he duplicated his individual conference championship in the long jump yesterday with a dominant triple jump title earlier this afternoon. The 15.45m leap he flew to on his final attempt was over two feet further than the runner-up finisher from Lewis-Clark State College, Trenton Johnson. For his incredible efforts this weekend, Reis was named the 2026 CCC Championships Men's Field Outstanding Performer of the Meet.
Seven more events netted positive team points for the Navy and Gold, which includes: senior DJ Armstead in the men's 100m (10.66 | fifth place), junior Kirsten Kuenzi in the women's 100m (12.31 | seventh place), junior Braydon Lee in the men's 800m (1:54.32 | fifth place), freshman Kayla Krueger in the women's high jump (1.50m | sixth place), redshirt senior Anthony Salisbury in the men's javelin (58.76 | sixth place), and both the men's (Armstead, Lee, sophomore Julius Porkorny, freshman Ethan Medyanik) and women's (freshman Ava Barnett, sophomore Josie Rothman, junior Shaelee Killorn, freshman Julia Duncan) 4x400m relay teams that placed eighth and sixth, respectively.

In the relays, the women's 4x100m team comprised of freshman Julia Duncan, freshman Ava Barnett, freshman Ella Grubbs, and junior Kirsten Kuenzi surpassed the fifth all-time best time by a Warrior crew at 49.08 overall. The women's 4x400m relay team also set the ninth all-time best time of 4:01.93, with the squad comprised of Barnett, Rothman, Killorn, and Duncan.
