CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2024 CCC Baseball Coaches' Preseason Poll on Wednesday morning, where first-year head coach Ryan Harris has the opportunity to turn the tides on his new conference opponents and flip a sixth-place finish into a possible playoff contention. The 2024 preseason poll completely mirrors the regular season and postseason finishes in 2023 regarding how each team concluded their seasons on the diamond.

"The CCC is a great conference full of very competitive baseball programs," Coach Harris shared following the release of the preseason poll. "Our goal is to continue to lay our foundation of what Corban baseball represents. Competing on a daily basis for each other, continuing to learn on and off the field, and both preparing and pursuing excellence. I'm incredibly proud and blessed to coach this group of men and can't wait to see what they're truly capable of come spring."
Despite finishing fourth in the 2023 regular season standings, Lewis-Clark State College rode an NAIA National Tournament streak back into the World Series and eventually finished as the national runner-up program, thus giving them the first-place nod in this year's poll with four of the seven first-place votes and 46 total points.
The reigning CCC Tournament champions, the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds, follow in second place with 41 points and a single first-place vote, while the regular season champions of the conference, Oregon Tech, close out the top three with two first-place votes and 39 voter points.
The College of Idaho (26) is the remaining program that the CCC head coaches have dubbed to be a postseason worthy team in the upcoming spring season, with Bushnell University (23), Corban (11), and Eastern Oregon University (10) rounding out the seven-team conference.
Coach Harris is expected to release the full 2024 schedule for the Corban baseball program in the coming weeks, with a handful of conference opponents set to visit the Warriors and the new-look Volcanoes Stadium this upcoming spring term.
