KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the final Women's Volleyball Top 25 Coaches' Poll for the 2024 fall season, representing the postseason results at the national final site where Indiana Wesleyan University hoisted the Red Banner in their second-consecutive national championship season. Following their second semifinal appearance in three seasons, the Corban University women's volleyball squad appeared in their 47th-straight poll dating back to 2018 and end the 2024 season as the No. 4-overall team in the nation.

"I am so proud of how we finished strong at the national tournament," Warriors' head coach Kim McLain shared following her program's highest ranking of the season. "It was an incredible honor to reach the NAIA Fab Four, and I couldn't have asked for a better group of young women to share this journey with. Their hard work, determination, and high character, rising above difficulties along the way, have made this season unforgettable. I am honored and blessed to have coached this group!"
Rising above expectations on the national stage, the Warriors first clinched their ninth-straight final site appearance with another home sweep in the opening round, this time against the University of Mobile in their first ever matchup with the Rams. They were then pooled together at the final site with Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) member College of Idaho and their opening round opponent from 2023, Aquinas College.
Following their three-set sweep of the Yotes to earn a revenge win from their last meeting in mid-October, the Navy and Gold hung on to a five-set thriller against the Saints, handing Aquinas only their third loss of the year to return to national bracket play for the first time since 2022. In their quarterfinal matchup, Corban shook off an extra-point first set loss to win three straight sets and knock off the University of Montana Western and clinch the first semifinal spot of any team at the final site.
In an opportunity to avenge their season-opening loss to Bellevue University, the Warriors shot themselves in the foot far too many times to return to the national championship match once again, as they fell in three sets to conclude 2024 at 27-6 overall as one of two CCC programs to reach the national semifinal stage. Two student-athletes, senior libero Marissa Uehara and junior opposite hitter Makayla Roginski, were named to the NAIA All-Tournament team for their postseason efforts, while Uehara was named the Defender of the Tournament, the first in program history to earn the recognition.
