SALEM, Ore. – The third year under the direction of head coach Nolan Harris is nearly in full swing for the Corban University Men's Wrestling program, as the Warriors will kick off a busy opening weekend over the first few days of November with two head-to-head duals followed by an open tournament in eastern Oregon, all of which will provide the Navy and Gold will plenty of ambitious competition prior the bulk of their schedule in early 2026.

"We're excited for this season's schedule and the role it will play in preparing us for the postseason," explained Corban head coach Nolan Harris. "We always build in the balance of home duals with national-caliber tournaments. Once again, we've been invited to the NWCA National Duals and are excited to get the opportunity to compete with the NAIA's best. We're also excited for the multiple home duals on the schedule and the opportunity to put on a show for our home crowd. Our ultimate goal is to compete in March at the NAIA National Championships, and this schedule prepares us well for those three days."
The 2025-26 regular season officially opens for Corban men's wrestling on Saturday, November 1st at the Mountaineer Duals, hosted by Eastern Oregon University in Quinn Coliseum. The Warriors are scheduled to face North Idaho College in a scrimmage team score format first, followed by No. 14-ranked University of Providence directly after in a difficult opening day dual matchup.
The following day, Corban will stick around La Grande for the 2025 Mountaineer Open, which will be the first of five open tournaments they will participate in this upcoming season. Four of the five open tourneys will take place prior to the Christmas break, with the final occurring on the first Sunday of 2026.
On Saturday, November 8th, following the Corban women's volleyball's regular season home finale contest, the Warriors will host Southwestern Oregon Community College in their home opener, which is currently scheduled for 7:30pm barring the conclusion of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) women's volleyball match. With the opponent being represented by a junior college, the team scoring will once again be in scrimmage format.
The remainder of November will see the Navy and Gold participate in a pair of open tournaments, with the first taking place on November 9th in Forest Grove in the Mike Clock Open, hosted on the campus of NCAA DIII Pacific University. The final appearance in November will take place in Spokane, Washington at the Spokane Open, hosted by Spokane Falls Community College at The Podium.
Another road tri-meet for Corban men's wrestling will put them south of the Oregon-California border in Redding on December 4th, where fellow CCC school Simpson University will host both the Warriors and NCAA DII San Francisco State University for round-robin style matchups.
In a two-day span, the Navy and Gold will return to the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center to host a second-straight NCAA DII program, as Simon Fraser University will make the international journey from British Columbia for a 7pm start time on December 6th. Their third open tourney of the year and fourth event in a four-day span will take place on Sunday, December 7th at the Clackamas Open, hosted by NWAC member Clackamas Community College.
The final event of 2025 for the Corban men's wrestling program is once again a tri-meet, this time on their home mats with a pair of CCC schools heading to the Willamette Valley. No. 17-ranked Arizona Christian University and The Evergreen State College will both be atop campus on December 14th for head-to-head duals.
The Navy and Gold open 2026 with their fifth and final open tournament represented by the Mat 'Cat Invitational, which will take place on January 4th in Ted Wilson Gymnasium. The following weekend, Corban will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa for a second-straight year to participate in the NWCA National Duals, with their NAIA opponents still yet to be determined.
The remainder of January consists of four-consecutive CCC head-to-head matchups, with two taking place on the road, one at a neutral site, and one on Tim Hills Court. First, a date with the No. 21-ranked Mountaineers back in Quinn Coliseum will take place on Thursday, January 15th, just over a week before they'll head to Ashland to clash with Westcliff University and No. 6-ranked Southern Oregon University. They'll return to campus on Sunday, January 25th when they'll host No. 15-ranked Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) for the first time in program history.
Corban's senior night is scheduled for Saturday, January 31st at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center, where they will host Linfield at 7pm and honor their 2026 senior class. Finally, the regular season will conclude at the Stoller Center on Pacific's campus, with a 7pm start time on February 6th slated against the Boxers.
The Warriors will host the CCC Championships for the first time in program history on February 20th and 21st at the Salem Armory Auditorium. Any of the individual Warriors who qualify for the NAIA National Championships will see their first rounds begin on March 5th, with the bracket play advancing deeper on the 6th, and ending with the national semifinals, consolation brackets, and national championship matches on March 7th. The 2026 NAIA National Championships will once again be held in Wichita, Kansas at the Hartman Arena.
