CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the McDonald's CCC Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for the competitions held between November 3rd  to 9th, where for the fourth time this season, the No. 5-ranked Corban University Women's Volleyball program was represented by one of their key starting pieces who has continued her absolute tear through conference play and helped power through the end of the regular season on a nine-game winning streak. Junior outside hitter Emma Bischoff has been unstoppable as of late, as she's been named to her second-consecutive and fourth overall CCC Attacker of the Week award this season following dominant performances against RV Southern Oregon University and Oregon Tech to close out conference action.

"Emma being named to this award is such a testament to her hard work," explained Warriors' head coach Kim McLain when asked to discuss Bischoff's most recent honor. "She has been putting in so much extra time on her own, and it's paying off. She would be the first to say that her teammates are a huge part of her journey, but what she's been able to contribute herself towards our team success is irreplaceable. I'm so proud of her and feel extremely blessed to be her coach."
The four-time CCC Attacker of the Week in Bischoff has caught fire from the floor as of late, as she registered her fourth and fifth-consecutive double-double outings this past weekend against Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech that locked up a top two tournament seed for Corban. On Friday when hosting the Raiders, Bischoff needed just three sets to tally a game-best 13 kills and 10 digs, then followed up on Saturday against the Lady Owls with 16 kills and 14 digs to complete the undefeated home slate at Tim Hills Court.
With the regular season now wrapped up, Bischoff ended the year within the top ten of the conference in kills (293), kills per set (3.05), and service aces (0.50) while also holding the 17th best kill percentage (.244) across the Pacific Northwest. With a postseason schedule still to be played, Bischoff has already secured the ninth most service aces (48) and fifth service aces per set average in a single season for Corban women's volleyball.
Bischoff will look to carry the No. 5 Warriors into the postseason this upcoming weekend in La Grande, as they'll represent the No. 2-overall seed in the CCC Tournament. Corban has earned a quarterfinal bye and will await to see who their opponent will be following the play-in round tomorrow in Ashland and Lewiston, Idaho, which will complete the tourney final site field. Opponent information and start time will be available on the Corban women's volleyball schedule later this week.
