CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the 2025 Women's Volleyball All-Conference teams and individual award winners, where the No. 5-ranked Corban University Women's Volleyball team earned one of the few individual honors bestowed to a Warrior, while five total Navy and Gold student-athletes saw their names among the various All-Conference teams.
Junior Kaile'a Ontai was named the first CCC Libero of the Year for the program since 2016, earning Second Team All-Conference honors as well. Joining Ontai on Second Team was senior setter Abby Guindy, marking her third-straight season as an All-Conference member. Senior opposite hitter Makayla Roginski and junior outside hitter Emma Bischoff dominated the CCC to earn First Team honors, while junior outside hitter Kendra Bittle picked up Honorable Mention accolades for the first All-Conference nod of her Corban career.

"Kai being named the Libero of the Year in such a highly competitive conference is an incredible and well deserved honor," explained Corban head coach Kim McLain when asked to discuss her first individual award winner since 2023. "Her performance this season has made a tremendous impact on our team's success. She leads through her actions, relentless work ethic, and servant-hearted leadership. Kai's consistency and grit set the standard for everyone around her. I have no doubt she will continue to make a major impact for us in the postseason. I am truly blessed and honored to coach her!"
Ontai followed in her sister's footsteps, Kealani Ontai, as yet another starting libero for McLain and the Warriors, becoming the first between the two siblings to be named the CCC Libero of the Year. Following her first full year as the team's starting libero, Ontai finished second across the conference in both total digs (404) and digs per set (4.34) yet was the digs per set leader overall in just CCC contests with a 4.41 average. In addition to her sublime defense (which netted her both CCC and NAIA National Defender of the Week honors), Ontai recorded 23 service aces offensively and committed just 21 reception errors on the year, which was the lowest every starting libero across the Pacific Northwest.
"Second team honors for Kai is a tremendous and well-deserved accomplishment as well," continued McLain on her first-year starting libero. "She pushes herself daily to improve and gives her very best in everything she does. Her dedication and growth this season have been incredible to witness. Kai leads with a servant's heart, is a great teammate, and truly makes those around her better. It's an absolute honor to coach her on a daily basis."
A stretch of three-consecutive Second Team honors for Roginski was broken today via her First Team selection following her best season at the net as a Warrior, as she led the Navy and Gold in kills (312), kills per set (3.25), and had the highest kill percentage among pin (outside/opposite) attackers at .302 overall, earning her Attacker of the Week accolades on two separate occasions. She was the only student-athlete across the CCC to appear in the top five for both total kills and kill percentage.
She also tallied 75.0 blocks across her 27 matches played to claim the third-most blocks in a single Corban career at 339.0 in four years. She's currently at 1,276 career kills which is seventh all-time in the Warrior record books with a postseason schedule yet to be played.
"Makayla earning First Team honors is a tremendous result and so well-deserved for her," McLain shared regarding her four-year opposite hitter. She consistently puts in the work in and out of practice, leading by example on the court. Her dedication, competitive spirit, and love for the game have made a huge impact on our program. I'm so proud of her accomplishments and beyond blessed to have the opportunity to coach her."
A career year for Bischoff netted the Medford native a First Team selection for the first time in her collegiate career, as she was an Honorable Mention team member in 2023 during her freshman season. Undoubtedly one of, if not the top, outside hitters across the CCC, Bischoff tallied four CCC Attacker of the Week honors, three of which came during the final four weeks of the regular season. She trails only Roginski in nearly every offensive category, while representing the Warriors' leading server in both total service aces (48) and service aces per set (0.50), which ranks third across the entire conference.
On the season, Bischoff has tallied eleven double-double outings and is currently on a five-match streak of tallying at least ten kills and digs against her opponents. With her senior season still to go in the fall of 2026, Bischoff is quickly approaching the 1,000 career-kill mark and has already hurdled the 500-dig achievement. She's perfectly placed the sixth-most service aces in a single career to date with 138, with the all-time program record of 204 well within reach as the end of her junior campaign draws near.
"Emma earning First Team All-Conference honors is such an accomplishment!" McLain exclaimed when asked to discuss her all-around outside hitter. "She works hard day-in and day-out, always giving extra time to better her game. Her growth and improvement this season have been outstanding to watch unravel and is a true reflection to her dedication. I'm so proud of the player she has become and the person she's becoming. It's truly an honor to coach her."
The first Second Team All-Conference nod of Guindy's four-year career comes on the cusp of yet another consistent season of managing the Warriors' lethal offense, which led the CCC this conference season in kills (980) and was second in kills per set (13.80) while earning kills on nearly a fourth of all attacks. Guindy was personally responsible for 617 total assists across the 2025 season, scoring herself via 29 service aces and securing 174 digs in the backcourt. She's currently sixth all-time in career assists (2,579) and will have the opportunity to move into the Corban top five with 80 more across the upcoming postseason schedule.
"I'm so proud of Abby for her consistency this year to earn a Second Team honor," McLain explained regarding her starting setter's third-consecutive All-Conference selection. "She is an incredible leader both on and off the court, always setting the tone for our team. Abby continually pushes herself to grow and gives everything she has to those around her. Her servant heart and love for her teammates makes her so special, and I'm so blessed to coach her."
Bittle earned the first All-Conference honor of her career following a 259-kill, 142-dig, and 29-ace season where she racked up a pair of double-double outings and had a season-high kills count of 14 in massive wins over both No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College and No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University. On a game-by-game basis, Bittle consistently provided the McLain and the Warriors' with yet another offensive weapon alongside Bischoff and Roginski, as she was third in kills per set at 2.70 while becoming one of the Warriors' most potent servers.
"Kendra's hard work and growth made her an obvious pick for All-Conference honors," shared McLain when asked about her starting outside hitter opposite of Bischoff. "Her improvement this season has been incredible to watch, and her intensity and drive to win inspire those around her. She celebrates her teammates' successes and brings great energy to our program. I have no doubt she will continue to make big impacts for us this postseason. It's truly an honor to be her coach."
The Corban women's volleyball team is in La Grande this week for the 2025 CCC Tournament, which is hosted by the No. 1-ranked Mounties. The Warriors earned a quarterfinal bye as the No. 2-overall seed and will face No. 19-ranked Bushnell University (20-11) tomorrow at 5pm in the semifinal stage with a spot in the tourney championship on the line.
