NEWBERG, Ore. – The Corban University Track and Field program continued their indoor season today at the George Fox Indoor One meet, where both the men's and women's teams delivered standout performances in a highly competitive field.

"It was a really nice meet today in the George Fox ice box, I mean unheated tennis center," quipped Coach Bos. "We had lots of high places and a few impressive PRs. Thanks to God for our excellent performances and good health at the meet."
In the men's field events, sophomore Caleb Jannsen turned in a personal best performance in the shot put, finishing sixth overall with a throw of 12.13m. Meanwhile, senior Leah Nastri delivered an eighth-place finish in the women's pole vault, matching her season-best of 2.90m for the second consecutive weekend.
The highest placement of the day came from redshirt junior Kayla Morgan, who clinched first place in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.67m, displaying her dominance in the event against multiple NCAA Division II athletes.
On the track, sophomore Kirsten Kuenzi placed sixth overall in the women's 60m final with a time of 8.02, building on her personal record set in the prelims with a swift 7.99.
For the men, junior DJ Armstead claimed third place in the 60m finals with a blazing time of 7.01, marking a personal best. Sophomore Benjamin Krebs and senior Will Maupin also set personal records, clocking 7.23 and 7.56, respectively, to round out the men's 60m competitors.
The Warriors will continue the action tomorrow at the Portland Indoor One meet, hosted by NCAA DI University of Portland beginning at 11am at the Chiles Center.
