ASHLAND, Ore. – In their final road matchup of the 2025 regular season, the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team picked up their third sweep of the season over Simpson University to clinch a 3-0 record in southern Oregon. A clean sweep over the Red Hawks allowed the Warriors to clinch a fifteenth-straight win and improve to 14-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play with just one match remaining next week on their home courts.
"We had some great weather today to finish off our road trip to southern Oregon," explained Corban head coach Dan Stephens. "We got the win over Simpson and now we're about to wrap up our regular season schedule on Tuesday against Bushnell for our Senior Day."
The Warriors (16-1, 14-0) picked up clean sweeps at all five pairs, with the fifth being forfeited by the Red Hawks (0-11, 0-11) due to player availability. The most dominant decision of the afternoon came in the fourth-overall pairing, as junior Alexis Adebodun and freshman Gabi Engels allowed only ten points in total to Simpson's Kare Ann Oshiro and Emily Melo in 21-4 and 21-6 set scores.
