"Makayla had a strong performance against tough opponents, driven by her hard work and determination," explained Corban head coach Kim McLain when asked to discuss one of her senior leaders. "She plays with heart, never backs down, and gives her all for the team. True to her character, Makayla would be the first to credit her teammates, as she's a selfless and dependable leader."

On Thursday and Friday this past week, Roginski and the Warriors battled No. 9-ranked St. Thomas University, No. 16-ranked Viterbo University, No. 20-ranked Midland University, and No. 19-ranked Missouri Baptist University. They finished the MBU Spartan Invitational at 3-1 with a four-set victory over St. Thomas, three-set sweeps of Viterbo and Midland, while Missouri Baptist was able to escape on their home floor with a five-set upset of the Warriors.

Roginski was the offensive threat the Navy and Gold needed most across the 15 sets played out in St. Louis, as she smashed 57 kills (3.80 kills/set) with only 13 errors to conclude the weekend with a .393 kill percentage from the right side of the net. Additionally, she sent back 16 attacks for blocks and dug up 13 balls defensively.

Tomorrow night, the No. 3-ranked Warriors will travel to Monmouth for an exhibition match against NCAA DII Western Oregon University at 6:30pm. Livestream and live stats will not be provided by the Wolves, with a tentative recap being available based on information provided by the host institution.
