CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the CCC Players of the Week for the competitions held between September 28th and October 4th, where the Corban University Men's Golf program earned their first weekly award since 2024 following a standout tournament performance from senior David Harvey, who was named the CCC Men's Golfer of the Week.

"This is such a great honor for David to receive," explained Corban head coach Charlie Marshall. "He's worked so hard ever since his freshman year to get to where he is today. Shooting sub-par rounds this weekend is evidence to his hard work and dedication."
Harvey led the Warriors to the team championship at the CU Warrior Classic while capturing individual medalist honors at the two-day event hosted by Corban. After opening the tournament with an even-par 72, the senior erupted for a final-round 67 (-5), the lowest round recorded during the tournament, to finish with a 36-hole score of 139 (-5). Harvey's performance secured a five-stroke victory atop the individual leaderboard and helped the Navy and Gold cruise to a 17-stroke team title.
The veteran's efforts highlighted an impressive weekend for the Warriors, who placed the top three individual finishers in the field. Harvey was joined near the top of the leaderboard by sophomore Isaac Laro, who finished second overall, and senior Owen Heath, who placed third, as Corban posted a tournament-winning score of 599 (+23).
Harvey's award-winning performance continued a strong start to the fall season. Through Corban's opening events of the year, he has consistently been among the team's top performers, providing steady leadership and helping the Warriors establish themselves as contenders within the conference. With the conference recognition added to his résumé, Harvey and the Warriors will look to carry that momentum into the heart of their fall schedule as they continue CCC competition next week at The Warrior Fall Invitational, hosted by No. 20-ranked Lewis-Clark State College.
