No. 3 Corban Beach Volleyball Claims Four Individual Awards, Six All-Conference Team Members

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the 2026 CCC Beach Volleyball All-Conference team members and individual award winners, where the No. 3-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team continued their annual success in these award ceremonies by claiming the top individual recognition, three additional individual awards, and six All-Conference team members after leading the Pacific Northwest with 22 wins during the most recent spring campaign. Of the Warriors ten starting student-athletes, six earned All-Conference honors and of those six, half of them received individual recognition.

As to be expected following the 2026 regular season, senior Emmi Marks and junior Emma Bischoff claimed the CCC Pair of the Year honor following their record-setting dominant season atop the Corban pairings, as they are 26-2 overall to date with two regular season duals remaining before any future postseason dates are announced. Additionally, Bischoff was named the outright CCC Attacker of the Year, while Marks was tabbed CCC Co-Defender of the Year and freshman Emily Blagg secured CCC Co-Freshman of the Year accolades. Bischoff and Marks were joined by senior Alexis Adebodun and junior Cammie Masanda among the five First Team All-Conference pairings from across the conference, while Blagg and redshirt junior Erin Scott of the Warriors' fourth pairing earned Honorable Mention honors.

Corban beach volleyball's most successful pairing in 2026 made the decision for the coaching staffs across the Pacific Northwest an easy one after securing 26 head-to-head wins through the year to date and a 14-1 record in conference play, leading all pairs in the CCC and set a new program record for single season pair wins with two regular season duals and a probable postseason tournament still to be played out. Marks set the previous record last season with her previous partner and All-American teammate Jessica McMillian, breaking the record once again alongside Bischoff as the upperclassmen continue to improve upon their career win totals as well.

"This has been a very successful season thus far for Emmi and Emma in our top pairing," Corban head coach Dan Stephens began when asked to discuss his 1s. "Each competition, they are faced with the best players each team has to offer and being honored as the top pair of the CCC shows great respect for their accomplishments. This pairing has been a key piece to our strong season, and we are so proud of their accomplishments."

Bischoff has played in the top pairing every year since her freshman season and has been selected as the CCC Attacker of the Year back-to-back years now, displaying the respect the rest of the conference has for her overpowering offense as the most lethal force at the net from across the region. The junior from Medford has an opportunity to claim a third-straight All-American title heading into national postseason play.

Stephens carried on about his top attacker by stating, "Our top pairing has allowed Emma to continue being dominant at the net and the service line. She has a powerful swing along with experienced court vision that earned her the Attacker of the Year honor. Emma continues to push herself to better her skills and to grow her knowledge of the sport."

The Salem native has transcended up the rankings not just within the Warrior beach volleyball program, but across the west coast as both a dangerous attacker who can outplay anybody defensively, as noted by her 2026 Defender of the Year accolade. Marks' split capabilities both as a defender and attacker has turned her into one of the most consistent players in program history, as she's just three wins away from breaking the career wins record set by McMillian at the end of last spring.

"There cannot be a Pair of the Year or Attacker of the Year without a strong defender who can also set the ball effectively and efficiently, and that honor of Co-Defender of the Year rightfully goes to Emmi," continued Stephens, this time regarding one of his record-setting seniors. "Emmi continues to grow as a defender, and it is fun to watch her read and anticipate her opponent's next move. Emmi has been relied upon as an attacker in prior seasons, and to see her rise to the top as a defender shows her overall talent as a beach player."

Blagg entered the NAIA scope of collegiate beach volleyball with plenty of indoor experience having been named the NWC Rookie of the Year while playing for NCAA DIII George Fox University, as she repeated as an academic junior competing in her first year of eligibility in the sand by claiming a second Freshman of the Year title. In just a single season, Stephens and his staff converted Blagg from a primarily offensive indoor middle blocker into a well-rounded beach player who can contend both at the net and in the backcourt.

"Emily came to our team hungry to learn more about the game and determined to better her skills, and that has been a fun progression to watch and be a part of," Stephens explained when asked to discuss his program's second-straight Freshman of the Year award winner. "With this being her first collegiate beach season, Emily has shown that she has a growing love for the game and will continue to impress us with her talent moving forward."

Adebodun and Masanda impressed all season long aboard the Navy and Gold's third pairing, accumulating a 20-6 overall record with massive victories over numerous NCAA DI and top NAIA programs. They became just the seventh Corban duo to ever eclipse the 20-win mark in a single season, joining Marks and Bischoff who have both done so with different partners in prior seasons. For Adebodun, this is her second-straight year earning an All-Conference nod.

"The bond that Cammie and Alexis have out on the court has proven to be very successful in the win-loss columns," expressed Stephens regarding one of his most experienced pairings. "They have a strong knowledge of the game and a skillset to put that knowledge to use in competition. They love their unique beach volleyball game and to compete at a high level, and recognition for their accomplishments is so deserved, represented by a metaphorical 'icing on the cake' to their conference season."

The Warriors' all-time leader in third set winning percentage finally broke through in her final season to earn an Honorable Mention All-Conference nod, as Scott joined forces with Blagg shortly after the start of the 2026 preseason slate and have snagged 19 wins as a pairing, just one behind Adebodun and Masanda as they look to join the shortlist of Corban duos to ever win  20 head-to-head matchups in a single year. While Blagg still has at least one more year accumulating victories for the Dubs, Scott has propelled into the top five for career wins already as her collegiate career comes to a close.

Stephens concluded his thoughts on the program's award-winning day by sharing, "We've enjoyed watching Erin and Emily compete this season, as they continue to improve in each match that they play. They enjoy the game and they are always open to instruction from our coaching staff. They both have big hops and can really hit the ball, which makes for fun matches to watch, and it's exciting to see them get recognized for their efforts this season."

Tomorrow, the NAIA national office will announce the qualifiers of the 2026 NAIA National Invitational, which is scheduled to begin on April 23rd in Mesa, Arizona. The Warriors are expected to represent one of the at-large bids up for grabs this year having been ranked among the top three in the country the entire season to date.
