In Monday's opener, Corban would get on the scoreboard early thanks to five runs in the top of the first inning on a two-run double to left center by senior Erica Fitzgerald following by a three-run home run by Castronovo as the visiting Warriors grabbed a 5-0 lead after their first at-bat.

Corban would add two more runs in the top of the second inning to expand its lead to 7-0, as Fitzgerald reached on a fielder's choice that allowed Sandhop to score before Nippert executed a perfect double steal swiping home for the second time in four games.
