Corban vs. William Jessup Baseball Series Cancelled Due to Bad Weather

ROCKLIN, Calif. – Due to significant rain in Rocklin, Calif. throughout the week, and the weather forecasted for the upcoming weekend, the Corban University baseball games that were set to be played on Saturday and Sunday at William Jessup University have been cancelled.

Corban was set to play a pair of doubleheaders on both Saturday and Sunday to open up the 2017 campaign on the road, but despite William Jessup having a turf infield, the outfield was deemed to be so unplayable that the games will be unable to be played. William Jessup searched for other fields to play at in the area, but no fields were available that would be playable due to the heavy rain.

Corban is now set to open its season next weekend when it heads south to play in Redding, Calif., against Simpson University for three games and one contest against Menlo College. Games are set for January 27-28.
