SALEM, Ore. – Corban University head baseball coach Jeff McKay announced on Thursday morning the updates to the schedule of the first Warrior home baseball series of the 2017 campaign, set to take place over the weekend vs. Oregon Tech. Games will now be played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
With the wet weather all week and the forecasted weather over the weekend, the Warriors are now set for five games against the Oregon Tech Owls as both teams open up NAIA-West Conference play. The game schedule is as follows:
Friday, February 24: 5 p.m. at Wilsonville High School
Saturday, February 25: 12 p.m. / 3 p.m. doubleheader at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Stadium
Sunday, February 26: 12 p.m. / 3 p.m. doubleheader at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Stadium
The first four games of the series are slated as NAIA-West conference contests, while the final game on Sunday will be a seven-inning non-conference game between the Warriors and the Owls. Live stats will be available on Friday in Wilsonville, while both live stats and live video are scheduled to be available on Saturday and Sunday in Keizer.
Admission and parking will be free all weekend long, both at Wilsonville High School on Friday and at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.
