"We are excited for the upcoming season," Warriors' Head Coach Danyelle Huber said following the announcement of the poll results. "Having already added 14 new Warriors to an already experienced team, we anticipate and will be striving to compete and bring a Warrior mentality to each game.

Huber went on to share, "Being ranked 5th in the CCC, the toughest conference in the NAIA for softball, is just even more motivation to give it our all and show up each and every game and day. This year will be a lot of new experiences, and the Warrior softball program is ready and hungry!"

In quite possibly the most competitive conference in the entire NAIA, the Corban Softball team is slotted to finish right in the mix with all four of the NAIA Postseason teams from the 2022 season.

Oregon Tech, the 2022 CCC Regular Season and Tournament Champions, begin the 2023 campaign right where they left off, receiving 6 of 11 first-place overall votes and 94 overall points to take the top spot, looking to build off their 2022 trip to the NAIA Softball World Series.

Southern Oregon University (three first-place votes) comes in second overall in the 2023 poll with 88 total points, as the Raiders look to make yet another appearance in the NAIA Tournament.

The remaining pair of first-place votes were awarded to the College of Idaho, who sits just a single point behind SOU with 87. Eastern Oregon University, who was the fourth team from the CCC to reach the postseason tournament last season, sits firmly in the fourth overall slot with 77 points.

Following Corban at fifth, Carroll College takes the final preseason playoff spot, who returns a large group starters to gain the respect of the CCC coaches in this year's poll. The poll results are rounded out by the University of British Columbia in seventh, Bushnell University and Northwest University in a tie for eighth-place, the University of Providence in tenth, and Warner Pacific University rounds out the conference predictions.

The 2023 Corban Softball schedule will be released publicly within the coming weeks.
