BREMERTON, Wash. – The final round of the Gail Moore Intercollegiate concluded earlier this afternoon for the Corban University Women's Golf team, where the Warriors battled among some of the best programs in the country in the final Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) fall tournament of 2024 at Gold Mountain Golf Club. "It was a great day to play golf after a porous Monday, but unfortunately our ladies had their struggles," Warriors' head coach Charlie Marshall explained. "I'm very proud of how they kept a great attitude and grinded the best that they could."

No. 2-ranked University of British Columbia (574) outperformed their day one results to easily clinch the team title of their own tournament, whereas No. 16-ranked Oregon Tech (599) finished as the tourney runner-up. A pair of Thunderbirds (Bo Brown & Jessica Ng) along with Lady Owls' Quincy Beyrouty all tied for the individual medalist atop the women's leaderboard. Brown would go on to win the playoff tiebreaker, while Beyrouty was second and Ng earned third.

The Warriors were once again led by Senatra as she climbed the standings throughout Tuesday morning, with the Happy Valley native in 24th to start the round and concluding in a three-way tie for 18th at 157 through two rounds of play. Senatra shaved off three strokes when compared to her round of 80 yesterday to climb the leaderboard among the CCC competitors.

Coach Marshall's trio of true freshmen got a taste of what the NAIA has to offer with the ten-team event held in northwestern Washington, with Yaone Mokgatle leading the way at 181 and a 52nd place finish. Madelyn Moore was in 54th at 188 after her second-consecutive 94, while Avery Hansen (290) improved her day one score by 34 strokes to earn a 56th place finish.

Corban's final fall tournament of 2024 will begin next Monday in Eugene, where they'll participate in the Bushnell Tall Timber Invitational at split locations, beginning at the Eugene Country Club and ending at Emerald Valley Golf Club.
