"Our ladies played pretty consistent today as they did yesterday," Warriors' head coach Charlie Marshall shared regarding his women's team and their final round this season. "We struggled with our chipping and putting as we did most of this week and fell just short of our goal of passing up Walla Walla, but props to Yaone and her round of 84. I'm proud of how they represented themselves and Corban."

After fighting off a day one upset bid, the No. 5-ranked Thunderbirds from the University of British Columbia (898) closed out another pair of CCC regular season and tournament championships today in western Idaho, claiming the top three individual medalist honors to finish 19 strokes ahead of tourney hosts and No. 20-ranked Lewis-Clark State College (912). No. 22-ranked Oregon Tech (919) took home a third-place team finish, followed by Southern Oregon University (967), The College of Idaho (982), Bushnell University (1,017), Walla Walla University (1,061), and the Warriors (1,074).

The core Corban women's golf sophomores of Yaone Mokgatle (260), Ashlyn Thomas (262), and Madelyn Moore (272) finished the 2026 CCC championships as the top team finishers, as they claimed 30th, 31st, and 32nd individual placements, respectively. True freshman Jaycie Mokgatle (280) earned a 35th place finish, while freshman Haley McDonald (217) placed 40th after only completing two of the three rounds of 18 in Lewiston.

Comprised of entirely underclassmen, the Warrior women's golf team utilized this season as an integral part of their player development, with program leaders set to return in the 2026-27 school year alongside Marshall's newest recruiting class that will help propel the squad into the fall schedule and beyond.
