FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The No. 14-ranked Corban University Men's Wrestling team made the trip to Forest Grove, Oregon, for the Mike Clock Open, hosted by NCAA DIII Pacific University. While the team faced tough competition throughout the day, each wrestler registered at least one win in their respective weight classes, but ultimately struggled to find rhythm in the highly competitive tournament.
"The Mike Clock Open is a tough local tournament that served as a good barometer to see if our guys have made adjustments from the first couple of competitions until now" acknowledged Warriors' head coach Nolan Harris. "I was pleased to see improvement in our pace and energy levels throughout the match as well as elevating our leg attacks to finish on our feet. I am proud of how aggressive we were today, and I am looking forward to the upcoming competitions and the growth that will undoubtedly accompany this."
