"Today was a long day of tough wrestling and our guys showed grit," Warriors' head coach Nolan Harris stated earlier this evening. "David was able to pick up two quality wins in the quarterfinals and semifinals to find his way back to his third-consecutive national finals appearance. Joining him as All-Americans will be Isaiah and Toni, who both battled back from tough quarterfinal losses this morning to win in the blood rounds tonight. Getting over the disappointment of a quarterfinal loss isn't easy, and I'm proud of them for refocusing and finding a path to the podium. This is the first time in program history that we've had multiple All-Americans in a single year, and it's good to see an upward trajectory as a program. This is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our wrestlers, coaching staff, and administration. We're excited to see the guys go out tomorrow and compete in their final matches of the season, and we know they'll compete like Warriors."

Starting off on the consolation brackets of today's national tournament action, juniors Bo Davis and Luke Jensen each made their appearances in the third round of 141lbs after being sent down and battling their ways back up through yesterday, yet each saw their national tournaments cut short this morning and afternoon. Davis suffered an 8-3 decision defeat to Missouri Baptist University's Tyler Deen, but Jensen managed to advance to the fourth consolation round after a 4:16 pin of Arizona Christian University's Channing Porter. However, he saw his Wichita outing come to an end by No. 6-seeded Creighton Baughman of Concordia University (Neb.) via a narrow 7-4 decision.

Senior Tyson Stover was unable to escape the clutches of the consolation bracket as well, as he concluded his collegiate wrestling career with a technical fall to the University of Providence's Abel Nava in the third round of the 174-weight class. His collegiate career may have come to an end, but he will have left an everlasting impact on the program he helped build over the past four seasons.

Moving to the three Warriors who began the day with quarterfinal matchups, sophomore Isaiah Twait was unable to overcome Life University's No. 4-seeded Kendall Norfleet and his 11 points scored to drop an 11-6 decision and fall to the consolation bracket. Despite his loss, Twait remained determined to reach the All-American cutoff and did so by defeating No. 10-seeded Thomas Ketchen-Carter from the University of Cumberlands (Ky.) in an 8-5 sudden victory overtime period, whereas his rematch with No. 14-seeded Rylin Burns of Montana State University-Northern from the conference tournament was cut short due to an unreturnable injury to Burns at 3:27 into the match.

Redshirt junior Antonio Garcia joined Twait in having to work his way up the consolation bracket after a fall in the championship quarterfinals to No. 11-seeded Austin Foye of Central Methodist University, who advanced to the 285-weight class championships match earlier this evening. Garcia then picked up a 9-1 major decision over No. 9-seeded Jakob Jerabek of Morningside University before a narrow 4-3 decision loss to No. 7-seeded Braden Morgan of Friends University set Garcia up for a 7th/8th place match tomorrow morning.

Finally, Rubio continued his redemption tour through the 157-weight class championship quarterfinals and semifinal by picking up decisive victories over No. 6-seeded Elijah Chacon (Indiana Tech) and No. 10-seeded Hunter Hobbs (Providence). In the quarterfinals, Rubio shutout Chacon with a 5-0 decision before clinching a third-straight weight class final with his 7-2 decision against Hobbs.
