SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Athletic department is proud to announce the revival of the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame, with nominations for the Class of 2026 officially open and receiving nomination forms until December 1st, 2025. Corban director of athletics Bill Pilgeram is leading the resurrection campaign for the Hall of Fame that most recently inducted a class in 2012 and anticipates inducting the 2026 class at the upcoming Golden Warrior Awards.
"I am excited to announce the return of the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame!" exclaimed Pilgeram. "This gives us the opportunity to celebrate and recognize the remarkable student-athletes, coaches, and teams who have left a legacy here at Corban."

Those wishing to nominate an individual or team for the Warrior Hall of Fame Class of 2026 may do so by clicking HERE and filling out all required fields.
The Warrior Department of Athletics, in order to honor and promote excellence in the institution's sport's programs, establish the Warrior Athletics Hall of Fame (HOF) in 2010. The purpose is to recognize outstanding contributions and accomplishments to the heritage and tradition of Corban University Athletics. The intent of the HOF is to honor and preserve the memory of those athletes, teams, coaches and others whose achievements have brought recognition and honor to Corban University (formerly Western Baptist College) and it's athletic department.
Nominations are to be submitted by December 1st, 2025, with all pertinent information filled out properly. In order to qualify for nomination, there is a seven-year waiting period, meaning anyone individual/team that participated in Corban University events must have been prior to the 2018-19. These is a week Information is to be presented on the standardized online nomination form (intent is not to give an advantage based on the merit of the nominator's documents) with supplementary information accepted and considered in the deliberations. Any supplementary information will be requested by the Hall of Fame Committee through the original nominator. All nominees submitted must be reviewed and approved by Corban University before consideration for HOF acceptance.
A Selection Committee will meet in the winter/spring of each year to review, discuss, and vote on nominees. A two-thirds favorable vote is required by the Selection Committee to be inducted. Up to three individual inductees may be selected in any given year, whether it be individuals or teams. Minimum number of inductees is one. Candidates nominated and not elected, will automatically be considered the following two years. After a total of three years, the candidate cannot be considered for a one-year period. New nomination forms must then be resubmitted.
The Class of 2026 will be inducted at the upcoming Golden Warrior Awards at the end of the 2025-26 school year, which is currently scheduled for April 20th, 2026, in the Corban University Psalm Center. Tickets will be available online for the general public to purchase closer to the event date.
