SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Track and Field program showcased impressive performances at their home meet at the Outdoor Athletic Complex (OAC), with several standout results that highlight the team's strong start to the season. Sophomore Braydon Lee's 2:28.37 in the 1000m earned him a "B" standard and a spot in the 2025 NAIA top 10. Additionally, redshirt junior Kayla Morgan cleared the high jump national "A" standard for the second-straight appearance of the indoor season.

"Our team had a great day hosting the meet at the OAC. It was fun to see our entire team competing together on our home track," stated Coach Todd Bos. "A couple of notable performance highlights were Braydon's B-standard run in the 1000m and Kayla cleaning the "A" standard of 1.68m in the high jump."
"Overall, we were pleased how the meet went and plan to host a bigger home meet on April 26th. Once again, we are very thankful to God for all the marks today, some great and some needing improvement, and for keeping all our athletes healthy," added Coach Bos.
With a promising start to the season, senior Leah Nastri pole vaulted 2.90m, earning a new 2025 NAIA #81 ranking. Senior Gabrielle Tata-Rodrigues also made an impressive mark, winning the women's weight throw with 13.51m.
Several personal records were captured today, including Morgan in the 60m hurdles (9.63), sophomore David McCormick in the 60m hurdles (9.46), and sophomore Kirsten Kuenzi in the 60m (8.09). Junior DJ Armstead set a career-best of 7.03 in the 60m and took first in the 200m.
Freshman Carrie Babcock (10:49.70) and junior Zander Moha (8:39.33) earned new 2025 NAIA times in the 3000m, ranking 93rd and 45th, respectively. The Warrior women's 4x400m relay, comprised of freshmen Grace Dawkins, Emalie Lindberg, Haley Kline, and redshirt sophomore Patience Haff, secured the 69th position in the 2025 NAIA rankings.
In one week, the Navy and Gold will compete in Newberg on Saturday, February 8th, at the GFU Multi-Use Facility for the George Fox Indoor One.
