SEATTLE, Wash. – For the second time this winter season, sophomore Braydon Lee has qualified for the NAIA National Indoor Track & Field Championships in yet another event, as the Boring, Oregon native set a new school record to highlight the Corban University Track & Field team at the Husky Classic after their original meet trip was canceled due to winter weather. Earlier this term at Corban's first ever track meet on campus, Lee qualified for the national championships in the men's 1,000m race, in which he clocked a 2:28.37 to hit the national B-standard.

"Braydon ran great today," shared Corban assistant coach Stuart Eagon. "He was well under the A-standard and has one of the top ten or so times in NAIA this year in the mile now. Braydon can be a real threat at nationals in both the 1,000m and the mile, and we look forward to seeing him represent Corban at the national stage later this month."
Lee set a new school record in the men's mile by 4.5 seconds with his 4:09.42 final time in Seattle this afternoon, as he placed 75th among a large 100-man event that consisted of mostly NCAA DI student-athletes to qualify for the national meet once again. In a last-ditch effort to qualify for the national championships in another event, Lee exceeded expectations by submitting the sixth fastest time in the entire NAIA today, just two seconds off the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) individual cross country champion from The College of Idaho.
Lee and redshirt junior Kayla Morgan will make the national trek to Gainesville, Florida for the 2025 NAIA National Indoor Track & Field Championships, which are scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 27th and run through Saturday, March 1st at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center.
