MARION, Ind. – The 2024-25 school year has finally come to a close for the Corban University Athletic department with their eleventh All-American crowned at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, as redshirt junior Kayla Morgan of the Warriors' Women's Track & Field program leapt to her second national honor of the calendar year with a fifth-place finish in the women's high jump finals this afternoon.

"Kayla really showed a lot of poise today making some heights under pressure in order to become an All-American," Corban head coach Todd Bos explained shortly after his second All-American of the week wrapped up competition. "I'm really proud of both Kayla and Jack as they performed quite well on the national stage. We're also very grateful for Corban's support of our programs and we love representing the school. A huge thanks to God for bringing a wonderful group of student-athletes to our campus. We had tremendous spiritual growth on the team this spring, and we look forward to seeing how God is going to use this team for His glory in the future."
After clearing the opening height on her first attempt, Morgan and quite a few of the other competitors struggled to find their footing at 1.66m, which she cleared on her final try to move onto the third height. A brief miss on her first attempt at 1.69m was quickly absolved by an easy clear on her second go, guaranteeing her an All-American finish as only seven total student-athletes had managed to advance with top eight earning the national award.
Five student-athletes including Morgan saw their national title bids conclude at 1.72m, as she concluded her 2025 spring season in a tie for fifth overall alongside Rosemond Owusu from Lindsey Wilson College having matched results on every attempt through each of the four flights they endured this afternoon in central Indiana.
With the men's and women's track & field programs represented by just a single student-athlete at this year's national championship meet, Morgan and sophomore Jack Gladfelter scored 3.0 and 3.5 team points, respectively, to secure 56th and 57th team finishes within the hundreds of programs across the country.
Morgan and Gladfelter completed a perfect 2-for-2 All-American run at the NAIA National Championships this spring, giving the Corban Athletic department their tenth and eleventh All-Americans for the 2024-25 school year. The Warrior track & field programs earned three All-Americans when considering both the indoor and outdoor seasons, while also adding a cross country All-American via Gladfelter's eight-place finish this past November.
