NEWBERG, Ore. – Eleven Warriors were in action today to close out the 2026 Corban University Indoor Men's and Women's Track & Field season today at the George Fox Indoor Two, hosted by NCAA DIII George Fox University at their Multi-Use Facility. Over half of the Corban competitors today bested their event personal best marks, with two new school records and another one tied to close out the indoor portion of their 2026 season.

"Today was a good ending to our indoor season," said Warriors' head coach Todd Bos. "A few nice PRs and new school records, with four student-athletes having booked spots in the national meet in potentially five events. Outdoor track and field season is just around the corner, but we do have a couple of weeks to refocus on training and get ready. We give God the glory for our good season and thank Corban University for the opportunity to compete in the sport we love."

In the men's 60m hurdles, sophomore Aaden Ackley bested his previous school record with an 8.55 preliminary race, setting a new event record by two one-hundredths of a second. Junior Aden Dardis hurled a brand new school record in the men's weight throw, besting the previous indoor mark set by Matthew Araki in 2024 at 13.90m. Additionally, freshman Kayla Krueger tied the women's pole vault record of 2.90m that was set by Leah Nastri just last indoor season.

Members of the Navy and Gold to also set new personal best marks today include: sophomore Abimael Salinas (men's 60m – 7.63), Ella Grubbs (women's 60m hurdles – 10.24), and freshman Ethan Medyanik (men's high jump – 1.90m). Medyanik tied his previous personal record with today's high jump mark, which was good enough to win the event today in Newberg.

The 2026 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships will take place from March 5th to 7th in Gainesville, Florida at the Alachua County Sports & Event Center. National qualifiers and event seeding will be announced by the national office in the coming days.
