KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the final regular season 2025-26 Women's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Poll earlier this morning, where the Corban University Women's Basketball jumped back into the national eye following a 4-0 record featuring a pair of ranked wins over Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) programs who have since fallen behind the Warriors in the conference standings to close out the regular season.

"It's really great to be recognized back in the top twenty-five of the nation in this week's poll," began Corban head coach Kylie Frizell. "This is a great way to show what we have been able to accomplish this year. We celebrated the regular season results of claiming the program's first conference championship in fifteen years and the top seed in our upcoming tournament this past weekend, but our shift has already begun in both preparation and mindset that in the postseason we're all beginning with records of 0-0 overall. We're excited to be able to host the first ever final site for the CCC women's basketball tournament, but we're far from being done in showing what we're able to accomplish and just how far this postseason can go for us."
A massive Senior Day upset over No. 14-ranked Eastern Oregon University followed by a jaw-dropping 70-64 road win over then No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College allowed the Navy and Gold (23-5, 16-4) to catapult to the top of the conference standings, as they forced a two-way tie with the Mountaineers for the regular season title and claimed the No. 1-seed in the CCC Tournament, home court advantage, and the conference's first automatic bid to the 2026 NAIA National Tournament following tiebreak procedure.
With both programs having split their regular season meetings with LC State, Corban's season sweep of the fourth-place College of Idaho Yotes clinches the tiebreak for the Warriors after the Mountaineers split the series with C of I. Eastern Oregon and Lewis-Clark State remained ahead of the Dubs in the final national poll at fourteenth and seventeenth, respectively, but will both be seeded behind Corban in the upcoming conference tourney.
The Warriors are set to host the first ever single site CCC Tournament in conference history starting Friday, February 27th with the four quarterfinal matchups. Top-seeded Corban will host No. 8-seeded Northwest University (10-18, 6-14) at 5pm, with the winner moving on to a semifinal matchup against either No. 4-seeded College of Idaho (21-7, 15-5) or No. 5-seeded Oregon Tech (18-10, 14-6) at 5pm on Saturday, February 28th.
