NAIA National Championships Preview – Quartet of Warriors Set Sights on All-American, Indoor National Titles

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The largest group of student-athletes ever sent to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on behalf of the Corban University Track & Field programs all enter with incredibly optimistic odds of earning All-American accolades following their event finals, as they all represent top eight seeds in their respective events and will all compete for national titles throughout Friday and Saturday's competition in northern Florida. All four of the athletes competing in the navy and gold singlets this weekend for Corban hold the event records for their individual events, and can add to them as the only Warrior competitors left to compete this 2026 indoor season.

"It is an honor to represent Corban at the indoor national meet with these four student-athletes," expressed Warriors' head coach Todd Bos. "All of them have an opportunity to come home with an All-American award. From a performance perspective, that result would be an excellent meet if we came home 4-for-4 in awards. Yet, our mindset is to always do our best and let God take care of the results. We can work to be content with any outcome as long as we are competing for Christ and not ourselves.|

Bos continued by sharing, "In terms of individuals, Coach Stuart is really excited about the fitness Jack and Zander have right now. Jack has a real chance at winning the 5,000m and Zander can easily slip into All-American status with a solid race. Additionally, Coach Kelly is very hopeful for both Kayla and Oliver. Both are seeded high in their events, and you never know what can happen at the national meet. We so appreciate Corban giving us this opportunity. We look to represent God, Corban, and our teammates back home with our efforts!"

The first to compete this week for the Navy and Gold is also their most recent addition on the men's side, as sophomore Oliver Reis represents the lone Corban student-athlete who will compete in multiple events at the national championships. On Friday at noon PT, Reis will compete in the men's long jump where he is in the second of three flights, seeded just under the halfway mark via his 7.21m personal best which qualified him with a national B-standard. The following morning at 8:30am PT, Reis begins the men's triple jump event as one of the national favorites to claim the Warriors' first individual national crown in a jumping event, as his 15.60m national A-standard is the third longest across the country and less than a foot off the national best.

Only one member of the women's program makes her return to the national championships for Corban looking to earn her first indoor All-American accolades after securing her second-straight outdoor All-American title in May of 2025. Redshirt senior Kayla Morgan will jump for a national title on Saturday at 8:30am PT as the No. 3-seed thanks to her 1.72m A-standard leap that she hit at the 2026 Whitworth Indoor Invite.

A pair of long distance runners for the Dubs who have already earned All-American finishes this school year thanks to top 30 finishes in the men's cross country championships will have a chance to do so once again in two separate events in Gainesville this upcoming Saturday. First at 12:15pm PT on Saturday, senior Zander Moha competes in the men's 3,000m race after earning an at-large selection with his 8:26.90 personal best just nine-tenths of a second off the B-standard automatic qualification. Finally, junior Jack Gladfelter looks to add to his already stacked trophy case with an All-American finish in the men's 5,000m race, where he enters as the No. 3-overall seed and earns lane 1 preference with his 14:11.21 personal best.
