Corban Athletics Announces Thirty-First Annual Warrior Championship Classic Date, Registration Officially Opened

SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Athletic department is proud to announce the date for the 31st annual Warrior Championship Classic, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 17th at Creekside Golf Course. This event represents the department's annual Kickstarter for the fast approaching start of another school year and also signifies the department's largest fundraising event every summer. The 2026 Warrior Championship Classic will feature a complete round of competitive golf with dozens of four-man scramble teams in attendance, lunches provided by Willamette Valley Smokehouse to be picked up on the turn and enjoyed throughout the 18-hole classic, along with an awards ceremony/dessert directly following the competition portion. There will be plenty of opportunities for Warrior Nation supporters to bid on silent auction products along with a new and improved raffle structure.

"When the beginning of every school year approaches, it excites me that we have the opportunity to join together in fellowship on the golf course," began Warriors' director of athletics Bill Pilgeram. "This event provides our student-athletes with not only with a significant financial opportunity, but with so many supporters of Warrior Athletics in attendance each year, an equally important opportunity for them to give back to their various followers and grow in their spiritual development with some of our region's most dedicated alumni and supporters of the Navy and Gold."

Pilgeram leads the Warrior Championship Classic Committee and with the collaboration of the entire Corban athletic department, works methodically to improve upon the tournament's overall expectations and utilize the feedback provided by community members and sponsorship partners who participated in past years' events. Every varsity sport offered at Corban will have representatives at the event around the course on each of the eighteen holes, providing Warrior Nation and sponsors with an opportunity to further grow their relationships with every student-athlete, coach, and administrator who all work day and night to represent the Corban athletic department.

More information on the silent auction and raffle will be available on-site throughout the day of the 2026 Warrior Championship Classic. Early registration is encouraged to secure sponsorships/participation in the department's most popular event of the year, as the event will be capped dependent on venue maximums and vendor availabilities.
