CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2024-25 CCC Men's Wrestling Coaches' Preseason Poll earlier this morning, where the Corban University men's wrestling program received 62 voter points to clinch a spot in the top five of one of the most robust wrestling conferences within the NAIA. The Warriors are fresh off the most successful season in program history from both a team and individual perspective, as they once again saw a student-athlete earn All-American accolades and placed within the top 25 of the entire country at the most recent NAIA National Championship Tournament.

"The CCC is steeped in great wrestling tradition and is a very competitive conference, so we are looking forward to our conference duals as well as the conference tournament," explained Corban head coach Nolan Harris as he begins his second full season as the program leader. "Regardless of outcomes, team finishes, or preseason rankings, I know our guys will fight with integrity throughout the season and be fun to watch perform for His glory."
Both the University of Providence and Southern Oregon University split the ten first-place votes available, as the Argos held a slight six-point advantage over the Raiders to hold first and second in this year's poll, respectively. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) snagged a third-place finish with 75 points, followed by Eastern Oregon University and their 64 voter points.
Despite outperforming the Mountaineers at the 2023-24 CCC Championships hosted in La Grande, the Navy and Gold were two points behind EOU in the preseason poll released today, with the top five of the CCC set to represent a large portion of the NAIA Top 25 poll that releases this upcoming Thursday.
Montana State University-Northern (58), Arizona Christian University (39), Simpson University (32), Westcliff University (18), and The Evergreen State College (15) rounded out the ten-team conference who will all look to stake their claim on the CCC's individual weight class and team championship titles.
This upcoming Saturday, the Warriors will host their annual intrasquad scrimmage at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center, with the introduction of this year's squad scheduled to begin at 5pm. To view the complete 2024-25 competitive schedule for Corban men's wrestling, click HERE.
