Bragg and Senatra Sweep CCC Men’s and Women’s Golfer of the Week Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the Rize Laboratory CCC Players of the Week this morning for the competitions held between March 18th to 24th, where the Corban University Men's and Women's Golf programs were honored with not one, but two Golfer of the Week honors to pack the podium full of Warriors.

"Jackson continues to practice hard and play consistent golf for us and was so close to winning medalist honors at our tournament this past weekend in Victoria," Corban head coach Charlie Marshall shared when asked to detail his pair of honorees that were selected from his programs this past week. "Meanwhile, Kristin has been relentless in meeting her personal goals of finishing in either the top five or ten in each of her tournaments this year. The reliability that both Jackson and Kristin bring to the team on a weekly basis have helped our teams continue to grow as the school year progresses."

Bragg entered the final day of the Vikes Spring Shootout in third place overall and within a couple strokes of taking the crown. He concluded the week with a round of 73 to finish just outside the medalist finishes in fourth place to earn the highest Corban finish and help propel the program to a top three team finish in Canada.

Competing as an individual this past weekend, Senatra once again was the women's leading force with back-to-back rounds of 79 and 78, resulting in a fifth place finish to represent the top Warrior finisher. She concluded a third of the holes played in the second round with lower scoring than she had on the opening round for an extremely reliable first tournament appearance of the spring season.

Bragg and the rest of the men's team will enjoy a lengthy break from tournament action after a busy start to their spring, while Senatra and the women will head to College Place, Washington on April 7th for the Walla Walla Spring Invite.
