LEWISTON, Idaho – The final conference tournament of the 2023-24 season began earlier today for the Corban University Women's Golf team, who sent two individuals to compete at the LC State Warrior Invite, hosted by Lewis-Clark State College, with the remainder of the team still recovering from lingering injuries.

"Kristin and Olivia had a great time playing with their groupings today and are continuing to develop a better understanding of their games," commented Warriors' assistant coach Carrie Wallace. "We look forward to the final day of this conference tournament tomorrow."

The top of the conference leaderboard was flooded with single digit scores, as the top 20 golfers are all within eight strokes of each other as they look to prepare for the final round tomorrow. Warriors' senior Kristin Senatra was one of the multiple student-athletes among the crowded top half, completing a round of 81 today to sit in a three-way tie for eighteenth place, just four strokes off the top ten currently.

Freshman Olivia Wyatt punched in with a 103 today to sit in thirty-seventh overall, and both the first-year golfer and Senatra will have an opportunity to build upon their opening round scorecards tomorrow for the second and final round at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club, which also serves as their last competition date before the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships in two weeks' time.
