"Day three for our women went pretty well despite the desert claiming victory once again," explained Corban head coach Charlie Marshall in their final appearance of 2025. "Ashlyn was in a great zone today and we were so happy to see her burst out with a career-best round. She had an awesome eagle on a par five, chipping in from 27 feet."

Hardly any movement in the team standings resulted in a three-stroke victory for No. 14-ranked Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (884), who led for the majority of this week's tourney in the desert despite finishing with their worst round of the week today, nearly allowing the University of British Columbia Okanagan to sneak away with a team title. Despite finishing as team runner-up, hung on for the medalist honor, with teammate Lauren Nedo a stroke behind to tie with ERAU's Emma Marshall for second.

Despite finishing in twelfth, the Warriors (1069) had their best round of the week thanks to a career round for sophomore Ashlyn Thomas (258), who secured a career-low round of 75 to climb the individual leaderboard by ten positions and finish as the Corban leader in 46th. Fellow sophomores Yaone Mokgatle (261) and Madelyn Moore (269) concluded the Firestorm Fall Classic in 49th and 55th, respectively, with freshman Jaycie Moubray (281) in 56th and sophomore Kaylee Umbright (323) in 58th.

The Corban women's golf team will next be in action next spring, with the next event on their calendar marked as the Warner Pacific Spring Invite on April 13th and 14th. However, Coach Marshall will share additional tournament dates between today and their next scheduled date as spring season approaches.
