Corban Spring Sports Set School Record with Seventy-Seven Academic All-Conference Selections

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2025 U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference award winners for spring sports sponsored by the CCC, where a new set of Warriors representing Corban University Athletics earned the distinct academic achievement from the conference level. A new school record 77 different student-athletes were named to the Spring Academic All-Conference team.

"These awards are indicative of the quality of student-athletes and the great job our coaches are doing to recruit the best all-around individuals to Corban University," shared Corban director of athletics Bill Pilgeram. "We are blessed to have them represent us both on and off the playing surfaces."

To earn recognition as a CCC Academic All-Conference member, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, have attended their current institution for at least one academic year, and be of at least sophomore standing academically within their institution at the time of nomination. Varsity sports within the conference that are eligible for this distinction in the spring season include men's and women's golf, men's and women's track & field, baseball, softball, and beach volleyball.

The Warrior women's track & field team led the department this spring in total honorees, as the program sent 16 student-athletes for nomination out of the 19 rostered eligible members. From a percentage basis, the women's golf squad topped all qualifying spring sports as the lone eligible rostered student-athlete, graduate student Kristin Senatra, earned the distinction for a perfect 100% within the program. Baseball earned 15, beach volleyball and men's track & field at 14 apiece, softball with 12, and men's golf with five.

From a conference perspective, the Warriors make up just under 14% of the entire 569 conference-wide group of honorees (a new conference record for spring CCC members), which ranks second among all conference members including associate members who are within the conference sponsorships. The seventy-seven Navy and Gold student-athletes trail only The College of Idaho who is responsible for 91 of the total conference representatives.
