Corban Men’s Golf Ranked Sixth in 2025-26 CCC Coaches’ Preseason Poll

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2025-26 CCC Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll earlier today, where the Corban University Men's Golf program appeared at sixth-overall among the nine-team leaguewide rankings. The Warriors will enter the 2025-26 school year in the same ranking they completed the 2024-25 spring season, yet optimism surrounds the program as they were on track to finish in the top four following the opening round of the CCC Championships.

"Being ranked sixth for the preseason poll is just fuel for our men's team, as we know we are a much better team than predicted entering this year," Warriors' head coach Charlie Marshall detailed. "We have a solid returning core that was in contention for a third or fourth place finish at the conference championships last season plus some very talented incoming freshmen. I'm excited to see them dominate the courses this season."

The defending tournament champion Thunderbirds of the University of British Columbia (77) were selected as the spring favorites once again with six first place votes, yet not by a large margin as opposed to years past with Lewis-Clark State College (74) receiving two first place votes and trailed by only three voter points in the runner-up position.

The final first place vote up for grabs was earned by Southern Oregon University (63) who cemented their position in third place, followed by the Raiders' rival in Oregon Tech (49) and The College of Idaho (44) to round out the top half of the CCC.

Corban (34) found themselves just outside top five in sixth and only a single voter point ahead of Bushnell University despite finishing the 2025 championship tournament over 30 team strokes ahead of the ninth-place Beacons. Warner Pacific University (21) appeared in eighth overall entering their first season of competition since the 2018-19 school year, while Walla Walla University (11) completes this year's preseason poll in ninth.

From April 27th to 29th, the Navy and Gold will compete in the 2025-26 CCC Championships, which are to be held at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club in Lewiston, Idaho. LC State will serve as the host university this competitive season and will see a program earn an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships, which is set to begin on May 12th at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.

The Warriors are scheduled to kick off their fall schedule on Friday, August 29th, as they'll battle their I-5 rival Beacons in a head-to-head dual for a third-consecutive season at the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Springfield, Oregon.
