LEWISTON, Idaho – The Corban University Men's & Women's Golf programs are in western Idaho this afternoon preparing for the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships, where they will battle for their respective tournament team and individual crowns against the same competition they've seen on multiple occasions thus far throughout the 2025-26 school year.
"We have high expectations for our men's team to place in the upper half of our conference," shared Warriors' head coach Charlie Marshall. "They've been very focused recently and playing their best golf this spring thus far. Our women have the potential to play well this weekend after showing improvements over this past spring season. They can easily put themselves in position to finish ahead of several of our conference opponents if they remain determined and play their best golf of the year."
From a conference outlook perspective, the Warrior men's team has demonstrated the ability to easily finish within the top five of the CCC, having performed well in multiple conference tournaments this year but fallen just short of their original standings after difficult second or final rounds of play that saw them drop slightly in the team results. With the women's program made up of nearly all underclassmen, the Navy and Gold have continued to develop as the season has progressed, and can find themselves competing for that top five team position as well if they can endure through the difficult rounds of play and remain composed against some of the best competition the NAIA has to offer.
Marshall has submitted both of his postseason rosters to the CCC office for both his men's and women's programs, with the men's group comprised of mostly upperclassmen while the women will feature all underclassmen. Freshman Isaac Laro tops the men's roster after an impressive spring season to date, with senior Shane Jacobus representing the second bag after a turnaround spring campaign as well. Junior David Harvey, senior Brayden Sparkman, and junior Owen Heath round out the top five bags for Marshall's crew, with senior Andy Austen serving as the team's alternate.
On the women's side, sophomores Madelyn Moore, Ashlyn Thomas, and Yaone Mokgatle are positioned one, two, and three as the most experienced among the women's program, with freshmen Riley Sparkman and Jaycie Moubray representing the fourth and fifth team bags, respectively. Additionally, freshman Haley McDonald will serve as the team alternate in Lewiston as Marshall and his ladies' group contend within a difficult conference for women's golf.
The Warriors kick off the 2026 CCC Championships tomorrow morning with an 8:30am shotgun start time. Live results will be made available online by the tournament hosts, with the men's results available HERE and the women's results available HERE.
