Harvey Claims Top Five CCC Finish, Corban Men’s Golf Named to Team Sportsmanship Award

LEWISTON, Idaho – Junior David Harvey of the Corban University Men's Golf team played one of his best tournaments to date for the Warriors in order to earn a top five finish at the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships, as he powered the Dubs to a top six team finish behind back-to-back rounds under par at the Lewiston Golf & Country Club.

"Our men fought hard today, but ultimately we fell short of reaching our goal of finishing third," explained Warriors' head coach Charlie Marshall when asked to discuss the men's team and their last round of 2025-26. "I'm very proud of how they represented themselves, Corban, and Jesus these past three days of competition, which resulted in them earning the Team Sportsmanship Award. Major kudos to David on his play this week to earn a top five finish!"

For the first time in CCC history, RV Lewis-Clark State College (852) hoisted the tournament crown after completing a four-stroke team win over No. 15-ranked University of British Columbia (856), snapping the T-Birds' tourney championship streak for the program's first ever title. Oregon Tech (879) completed a day three comeback to finish top three over Bushnell University (885), with The College of Idaho (894) claiming the final top five spot. The Warriors (900) maintained their sixth-place finish this afternoon to finish the 2025-26 season ahead of Southern Oregon University (912), Warner Pacific University (916), and Walla Walla University (929).

Harvey (215) was one of seven student-athletes from across the conference this weekend to finish the 2026 championship tourney under par, as he tied for fifth alongside SOU's Ricky Reisner and UBC's Aneesh Kaura at -1 across 72 holes played this week. Within the Warrior individual standings, senior Brayden Sparkman (226) finished tied for 25th overall, while junior Owen Heath (229) was three strokes behind Sparkman in a tie for 28th. Additionally, senior Shane Jacobus (233) completed his final round of collegiate men's golf with a 76 to finish in 34th, while freshman Isaac Laro (234) closed out the final round of only his first year of collegiate action in a tie for 35th.

Corban men's golf will graduate four senior student-athletes of their 13-man roster this upcoming spring commencement, with nine returners that includes six current freshmen who will have three seniors paving the path forward on the greens alongside Marshall's newest recruiting class for the fall of 2026.
