BOX SCORE
PRESCOTT, Ariz. – After dropping its first game of the season in the finale of the Phoenix Inn/Corban Classic, the Warriors' women's soccer team embarked on its longest road trip of the season Friday night against San Diego Christian at Varsity Field on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Once the final whistle was blown, Corban had began another winning streak thanks to a 1-0 victory over the Golden State Athletic Conference member Hawks. With tonight's win, the Warriors continue the best start in program history thanks to their sixth win in seven games which has never happened in program history. The 2004 version of Warrior soccer captured their sixth win in then-Western Baptist's eighth game of the season.
Freshman
Tera McDonough (Boise, Idaho) scored her fourth goal of the season in the 51st minute off an assist by sophomore
Brittany Bowman (Shelton, Wash.) for the game-winner. McDonough is tied for the team lead in goals, while pacing the Warriors in total points with nine (four goals & one assist).
