Head coach Todd Bos said, "We performed well today. I am proud of our athletes and was very impressed by DJ, Hero in the 200, and seeing Evan and Gabby on the podium. We will continue to build on what we've been developing the past couple years and I am excited to be back here next season."

Day two began with field events including, discus, javelin, and pole vault. In the women's discus, Corban entered Madi Kleiber, Jaelene Diaz-Chavez, and Gabrielle Tata-Rodrigues. Tata- Rodrigues was the runner-up in the women's discus with a new school record toss of 41.49m, earning eight points for the Corban women, while Jacob Moore hurled the javelin 51.87m earning a fifth-place finish and four team points for the Corban men.

Headlining the morning was Olson who not only set a new personal record, but set a new school record and won the men's javelin, taking home a CCC Championship in his rookie season with the Warriors. His 60.70m throw is another NAIA "A" standard.

At the same time, Leah Nastri was showing off her abilities in the pole vault clearing 2.65 meters and finishing in sixth-place.

The excitement filled afternoon consisted of Madelynn Straus (31.19m), Leah Twede (35.89m), and Keelyn O'Reilly (37.60, personal best), competing in the javelin while DJ Armstead (10.69, personal best) and Hero Peters (12.40) ran the 100-meter dash for the Navy and Gold.

Up next was Kristi Hirte who dominated her heat in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.80.

In the men's 200-meter dash, Armstead finished second in his heat and recorded another season-best with a 21.61 second time and finished in sixth, scoring three more points for the Warriors and Peters (25.79) took 10th-place. Unfortunately, the 100m and 200m times will not count for Corban's record books, because the wind speed was above the legal limit.

Forrest Cooley (16:25.46) represented Corban in the 5000 meters and to round out the weekend, Corban entered a team in both the men and women's 4x400 relay. It was the last race for Juliana Brown and Peters. Both relay teams did well and demonstrated both grit and tenacity in their sixth (men's, 3:30.88) and seventh-place (women's, 4:17.11) finishes in the event and all throughout the meet.

Bos added, "We are thankful to be leaving the meet injury free and with some hardware. We thank God for blessing us with the team we have and for who He will bring to us next season."

While this afternoon marked the end of another season for most of Corban track's athletes, Evan Olson and Collin Warmouth will continue preparations for the NAIA Championship in Marion, Ind. on May 24-26.
