KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The third of six regular season NAIA Men's Wrestling Top 25 Coaches' Polls was released this morning by the national organization, where the Corban University Men's Wrestling program checked in at No. 13-overall for the second-straight week and third time during the 2024-25 school year. They have remained in the NAIA Top 25 through the first half of the season entering the winter break pause and will hold their No. 13-ranking until at least January.

"There was minimal movement within the rankings since the last poll was released, as head-to-head matchups have been limited thus far in the early season," detailed Warriors' head coach Nolan Harris. "Overall, our conference is represented well in the national eye. I think we have a couple of wrestlers that aren't in their respective top 25 polls that could make some noise at the national tournament. We have a great opportunity at a variety of weight classes this upcoming Saturday against a Southern Oregon squad currently ahead of us in the national poll that could affect our rankings moving forward. SOU has that same opportunity and will bring their best effort. There will be some really good nationally ranked matchups that depending on the result, could shake up our conference rankings and thus, the national rankings as well. Regardless of the rankings, this Saturday will be an exciting dual between a pair of quality NAIA teams."

Since the most recent Top 25 poll that was released on November 21st, the Navy and Gold have only participated in one home dual and a local tournament, where they shocked NCAA DII Cal Poly Humboldt by taking the final four weight classes (two via pin) to win a 26-23 dual in comeback fashion, while nine Warriors traveled to the Clackamas Open and earned several team points and head-to-head results that included a 149-weight class title for sophomore Jr Downing.

Among the individual rankings are seven Corban student-athletes in seven different weight classes, with three in the top ten of their respective divisions and six in the top fifteen. Redshirt senior David Rubio once again appeared at No. 2-overall at 157lbs, while redshirt junior Antonio Garcia and junior Luke Jensen appeared at No. 9 and No. 10 for the 285 and 141 weight classes, respectively.

Senior Tyson Stover was one spot outside the top ten for 174lbs once again, while sophomore Isaiah Twait remained in twelfth for 184lbs after remaining neutral since the last poll by accepting a forfeit in their December 7th dual with the Lumberjacks. Finally, junior Brayden Boyd appeared in the 125-weight class once again for Coach Harris and the Warriors, slated at No. 23 nationally.

The Warriors will have an opportunity to show the NAIA what they have to offer from the west coast in an epic Cascade Collegiate Conference showdown, as they'll host No. 8-ranked Southern Oregon University (10-0) at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center on Saturday, December 14th, in a must-watch dual prior to the Christmas holiday break.
