For the second time this season, a member of the Corban men's wrestling team fought his way through a championship bracket to claim his first title of the 2024-25 season, as sophomore Jr Downing registered back-to-back pins to start the 149-weight class over a pair of NWAC opponents, followed by a dominant technical fall over No. 9-ranked Southern Oregon University's Jonathan Hernandez, 18-2. He sealed the 149lb crown with a 12-9 decision over Matthew Hernandez, who was wrestling unattached for Clackamas.

The remaining top four finishers for the Navy and Gold were represented by true freshman Armando Nicacio and junior Asaiah Kamplain, who concluded the day in third and fourth place within the 165 and 197 weight classes, respectively. Nicacio defeated Diego Cruz from SOU in the third-place match with a pin in just over a minute of match time, while Kamplain dropped a narrow 10-6 decision to the Raiders' Kabb Christensen in their own third-place bout.
