SALEM, Ore. – Corban University Vice President for Student Life Brian Jaworski has announced that the Warrior women's soccer program will begin a national search for the next head coach immediately to begin the 2025 calendar year. The team most recently celebrated a fall-best 13 graduates to end their 2024 season and is expecting to return a majority of their roster next year with plenty of experience ranging from the true freshmen to the soon-to-be upperclassmen.
The Warriors are coming off a 7-7-5 overall season in the fall of 2024 with a 4-4-4 record in Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play, strong enough to qualify for their eleventh-straight postseason where they concluded the year in the CCC Tournament quarterfinals. The program has concluded each of the past nine seasons with no lower than a .500-win percentage overall, with five of those nine years reaching double-digit win totals, most recently in 2022 when the recorded an 11-4-3 finish.
Corban women's soccer garnered two All-Conference recipients, including the CCC Newcomer of the Year in freshman forward Maya Alston, while making the largest jump of any fall sport academically with 16 Academic All-Conference recipients, nine NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and four CSC Academic All-District selections. The senior-heavy starting lineup from last year will make way for the next generation of student-athlete success for the Warriors both on the pitch and in the classroom, with plenty of incoming recruits and key returners prepared to step up into the limelight.
