Corban Fall Sports Claim Forty-Three 2025 NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Office announced the entire list of Scholar-Athletes for the 2025 fall sport season, where forty-three Warriors were honored among the nation's most accomplished student-athletes in the classroom via their academic success. Varsity sports eligible for the NAIA fall season include football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball.

"To see our fall sport teams continue to excel in the classroom both from a regional and national perspective is an incredible accomplishment," shared Corban assistant athletic director and director of athletic communications Clayton Messerle. "They continue to set the standard for private Christian schools across the Pacific Northwest both from an academic and athletic standpoint, and we couldn't be prouder of how these student-athletes represent Corban University."

To qualify as an NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their respective sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This fall term, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards from all across the United States with 6,486 total honorees.

Corban University represented 43 of the 387 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) full-time member student-athletes honored this season for just over 11% of the Pacific Northwest, which ranks fourth among full-time members and trails only the three CCC members (The College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon University, and Southern Oregon University) who sponsor a varsity football program and the nearly 100 extra student-athletes those comprise. Trailing the Navy and Gold in the full-time conference scholar-athlete standings is Bushnell University (41), Northwest University (34), Oregon Tech (30), Lewis-Clark State College (24), The Evergreen State College (19), and Walla Walla University (14).

All five of the Warrior fall sports eligible for nomination received at least seven honorees, with women's volleyball claiming the top number of scholar-athletes with ten in total. Both the women's cross country and women's soccer squads had nine scholar-athletes honored, with men's cross country and men's soccer earning eight and seven selections, respectively.
